Sudden Deaths and the Role of NCDs – TBC Media Interview

On 25 August 2026, Heal for All Foundation was invited by Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation (TBC) for a public health interview focusing on sudden deaths and their causes, with particular attention to the contribution of non-communicable diseases (NCDs). The Foundation was represented by Glory Joshua Budili, Executive Secretary, and Dr. Samwel Jackson, Founder and Director.

During the interview, the representatives discussed how underlying NCDs and related cardiovascular conditions can contribute to sudden and unexpected deaths. The discussion highlighted the importance of early detection, regular health check-ups, awareness of risk factors, healthy lifestyles, and timely access to medical care. The interview also emphasized that some NCDs can remain undetected for long periods, making prevention and early identification essential.

The engagement provided Heal for All Foundation with an important platform to promote public awareness on NCD prevention and encourage communities to take proactive steps towards protecting their health. It reinforced the Foundation’s commitment to using media, health education and public dialogue to address NCDs and promote healthier communities in Tanzania.
