Advancing SDG 3 Through Equitable Health Systems – Global Sustainable Development Congress
From 22–25 June 2026, Heal for All Foundation’s Founder and Director, Dr. Samwel Jackson, was invited to speak at the Global Sustainable Development Congress in Jakarta, Indonesia, organized by Times Higher Education (THE).
Dr. Jackson participated in a panel discussion under the “HOW TO” session, where he shared perspectives on how NGOs, educational institutions and governments can collaborate to build equitable health systems that serve all people and advance Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3): Good Health and Well-being.
His contribution highlighted the importance of cross-sector collaboration, shared responsibility and inclusive approaches to health, recognizing that achieving equitable health outcomes requires cooperation between governments, civil society, academia and other stakeholders. He emphasized the role that each sector can play in strengthening health education, addressing community health challenges and ensuring that health systems are responsive to the needs of all populations.
The engagement provided Heal for All Foundation with an opportunity to contribute a Tanzanian and youth-led perspective to a global development dialogue, while strengthening its commitment to partnerships and collaborative approaches for advancing health and sustainable development.
