Mental Health & NCDs Media Interview – CROWN Media
On 6 May 2026, Heal for All Foundation was invited by CROWN Media or a public health interview focusing on the relationship between mental health and non-communicable diseases (NCDs). The interview was conducted by our Founder and Executive Director, Dr. Samuel Jackson Nyanda, a medical doctor and public health advocate.
During the interview, Dr. Nyanda highlighted the interconnected nature of mental health and NCDs, emphasizing the importance of prevention, early awareness, healthy lifestyles, and accessible health information. The discussion also aimed to help the public understand that mental health is an essential component of overall health and should be addressed alongside physical health.
The interview provided Heal for All Foundation with an important platform to extend its public health advocacy beyond direct community and digital engagements and reach a broader national audience through the media. It also strengthened our commitment to using media, health education and public dialogue to empower communities with knowledge and encourage greater attention to NCD prevention and mental wellbeing in Tanzania.
