David Madete

David Madete is a dedicated clinician and researcher with a deep passion for maternal health and digital innovation in healthcare. With over four years of experience in clinical practice and research, he has worked on several impactful health projects — including serving as an Assistant Researcher for the IMPACT Project led by the Aga Khan Foundation in Mwanza, Tanzania.

His journey in healthcare has equipped him with strong skills in data collection, analysis, scientific reporting, and collaborative teamwork. David’s work is grounded in evidence-based practice and a desire to bridge the gap between technology and healthcare delivery.

Currently based in Norway, David is pursuing an MPhil in International Community Health at the University of Oslo, where he is exploring how digital tools can strengthen maternal health systems in Tanzania and beyond.

Driven, compassionate, and forward-thinking, David envisions a future where no mother is left behind due to preventable barriers — and where digital innovation becomes a lifeline for healthier communities.
